Changelog

What's new in Replaybook.

Every version, in plain English. The app shows the same list under What's new, and updates itself.

Replaybook at launch

Everything in the first public version, in one place. From here on, each update gets its own short list.

Backtesting

  • Replay any past day one candle at a time, on any timeframe, without seeing what comes next.
  • Market, limit and stop orders, stops, targets and partial exits, filled the way the market would have filled them.
  • Practise a prop-firm evaluation under the published rules of real firms, with a limits bar and a pass or fail card (Pro).
  • A random day with the date hidden, and a Daily challenge: one day from the past, the same for everyone.
  • Free forex, gold, index and bitcoin data. CME futures through your own Databento account, never paid for twice.
  • Drawing tools, sessions, red-folder news on the chart and ICT tools: fair value gaps, order blocks, structure and liquidity.

Journal and stats

  • Every trade goes into your journal by itself, with a picture of the chart framed on that trade.
  • Playbook setups with rules to tick before you place a trade, and optional confluences.
  • Stats in dollars or in R: by day, session, hour, setup and how many confluences you had.

Live and Charts

  • Journal your real accounts: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TopstepX or a file from your broker.
  • Live charts from your own data source, with the same drawing tools and alert lines.

Looks

  • Six looks, each its own design: Classic, Studio, Quest, Nebula, and new, Clarity (calm and clear, light or dark with your computer) and Dojo (washi paper and ink, belts and seals).
  • Clarity's journal is a timeline of your days with a few gentle questions after each one; Dojo's has three lines: what you saw, did and learned.
  • Each look has its own animations and sounds. Calm keeps the screens still, and the sounds go from Off to Loud.

Try it first

  • Before you subscribe, play the Daily challenge and look around an example backtest. No card needed.

Before 1.0, Replaybook went through many test versions with early traders.
